Follow buttons not only help you increase number of your blog's followers but also show your skills in blogging So follow the below steps to add follow buttons to the header of your blog as I did in mine:
(1). Go to addthis, login to your account or register a new account.
(2) . Go to Tools > Follow Buttons.
(3). Give it a title which you want to add to your buttons.
(4). Below title choose your social media follow buttons e.g Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Rss feed url.
(5). After choosing follow buttons enter your social links for each button.
Click on Show more options to get more options!
(6). Select a theme the default theme is transparent, below theme specify the responsive width and vertical offset of follow buttons.
Responsive width means the width after which follow buttons will automatically hide.
Vertical offset means position of buttons.
Furthermore choose to show a thank you message or no when a visitor start following you on any social network.

(7). Click on Activate button.
(8). Click on GET THE CODE in the menu on top.
(9). Copy the first code which is the main addthis integration code and paste it below <head> in your template, if you have done this already than skip this step.
Follow buttons may take 5 to 10 minutes to appear
